When is the last time you got excited about a new postage stamp? Unless you’re a philatelist (studies postage stamps) you have hardly noticed postage. This commemorative series will have you sending snail mail again.
April 30th a new series of Adopt a Shelter Pet

stamps will be released featuring actual adopted pets. There will be 10 different stamps in the commemorative series and part of the proceeds will be going to shelters feeding 1 million dogs and cats. The stamps won’t be released until April 30, 2010; you can pre order at “Stamps to the Rescue”. It is hoped the stamps will help bring awareness to the millions of homeless animals.
